“I believe it was mid-late afternoon, let’s call it 4pm. I used my iPhone. No filter but I always use the editing tools in Instagram to get the photo how I like it. I visited that restaurant as part of a series of stories I was doing about lobster rolls on the east coast. I live in New York city, a friend of mine who grew up in Clinton told me about the spot.” — Andrew Z.

“I took this back in April 2016 while having lunch with my boyfriend and his mom at Stowe’s. I had never actually had a lobster roll before, so I felt that this was a perfect chance to capture a memorable moment. Being from California, it was great to have some real east coast seafood right on the beach overlooking the sound. I took this on my iPhone 6 and used an Instagram filter when I posted it.” — Olivia G.

“This was shot last summer around dinner time late July, on my iPhone 6! I used VSCO to get the filter. My friends and I live out on Fishers Island during the summer so we will boat over to Costello's for Lobster! I'm originally from Redding CT though.” — Wanna Spoon

“Sitting outside at Ford’s on a nice summer day is like New England punching you in the face, in a good way! You know where you are and there isn’t anywhere else you’d rather be at that moment, especially when the lobster bomb shows up. Bring a friend and share it!” – Matthew W.

“The first thing you will notice when the plate is placed at your table is the size. There is nothing fancy or dainty about the sub roll wrapped in aluminum. This is a classic CT Roll, where every bite is one to cherish.” – @soundshoresliving
