Rose City Drag Queens Show (June 22):
If you’re in search of some glamorous entertainment, stop by the Donald Oat Theater located on Broadway Street in Norwich for the Rose City Queens Drag Show!
At 7:00pm on Saturday, June 22, this lovely local theater will be bursting with energetic dancing performances and dazzling costumes.
The event is located on the second floor of the theater, and will be hosted by Global City Norwich, Rose City Pride Committee, and OutCT. Immerse yourself in the beauty of drag culture while enjoying complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a beverage.

Pride Flag Ceremony (June 25):
During the last week of Pride Month, watch the rainbow soar! The Hammond Mansion at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford will be hosting a Pride Flag Ceremony on Tuesday, June 25.
This beautiful estate is the perfect location to join friends and family to honor the LGBTQ+ community. The ceremony will begin at 12:00pm, where the Pride flag will be raised to fly high above the town.
All are welcome to observe this ceremony of peace, love, and solidarity.
Continue with the festivities later in the week by heading just a few feet away to Blue Gene’s Pub at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center and watch the Pride Talent Show on Saturday! Hosted by Drag Queen Summer Orlando, the show will showcase the Eugene O’Neill Theater staff as they put on the performance of a lifetime. Pride cocktails and themed table games will begin at 5:00pm, with the show beginning at 9:00pm. Help make the crowd a glimmering sea of colors by wearing your favorite Pride-themed clothing or accessories!

BIPOC Cookout (August 11):
Support the BIPOC part of the LGBTQ+ community in the sunshine and fresh air at a cookout in Washington Park in Groton on Sunday, August 11.
This peaceful park is the perfect location for parents to relax and kids to play.
Hosted by advocacy non-profit organization OutCT, this celebration is in honor of the black, indigenous, and people of color within the Groton community, and surrounding areas.
The event begins at 1:00pm and runs until 5:00pm. Come fill your belly with free food and enjoy live music and games!
Queereoke, Pride Webinar, Drag Bingo, & Pride at the Beach (August 7-10):
The summer Pride fun continues through August with the City of New London’s array of events.
Searching for a unique twist on everyone’s favorite nighttime entertainment? OutCT will be hosting Queereoke at 32 Bank Street on August 7-8 (Wed-Th) from 8pm-1am!
If partaking in Pride festivities from the comfort of your living room is more your style, then you're in luck! On Thursday, August 8, join OutCT’s Education Committee for a Pride webinar event from 6:00pm-7:15pm.
Or if you’ve been seeking a pleasant mashup of games and performance, then you can head to All Souls New London on 19 Jay Street for Drag Bingo on August 9 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Picture your typical bingo fun with the added pleasure of performances from your live drag queen host!
Lastly, get ready to step out in the fresh salty air with southeastern Connecticut’s biggest pride festival: Pride at the Beach! The event will be held on Saturday, August 10th from 11:00am to 6:00pm at Ocean Beach Park on Neptune Ave.
