An Invitation to Explore Over 130 Connecticut Attractions – Open House Day Returns June 14

HARTFORD, Conn., (May 28, 2025) – On Saturday, June 14, the 21st annual Connecticut Open House Day returns, inviting state residents to enjoy free or discounted admission, exclusive tours, and special events at more than 130 of the state’s best attractions. From historic landmarks to nature centers, art museums to local farms, Connecticut is offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity to rediscover all the hidden gems and beloved spots right in your own backyard.

The Connecticut Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism’s one-day event invites residents to explore, rediscover, and deepen their appreciation for the rich experiences that await in the state.  For over two decades, Connecticut Open House Day has been a gateway to the best of what the state offers, from its artistic treasures to its outdoor adventures and culinary delights.

This Year’s Highlights Include:

  • Free or reduced admission at 45+ attractions—museum, nature centers, farms, historical sites, and more.

  • Exclusive tours at 20+ attractions, including rare access to historic homes and landmarks rarely open to the public.

  • Special offers, events, and giveaways at 50+ attractions, including adventure parks, breweries, vineyards, theaters, mini golf courses, restaurants, and marinas.
