You and your team are trapped; you have 60 minutes to escape the room by solving a series of puzzles that will challenge your mind and confound your senses. Saybrook Point Miniature Golf

"Putt A Round By The Sound." One of Connecticut's favorite mini golf course, located at the mouth of the Connecticut River, is a seasonal operation May through Columbus Day weekend. We have a full concession stand serving hot dogs, ice cream, candy and drinks. Fun for the entire family.

Guilford Walking Tours

Explore 375 years of Guilford history on a guided walking tour led by volunteers. History of the Town Green and many of the surrounding homes and businesses, most of which are on the National Register of Historic Places, is provided. Learn about the local Native Americans, New England slavery, how Guilford is connected to the saving of the Connecticut Charter (1687), the Salem Witch Trials (1692), and the Statue of Liberty. Other entertaining historical stories are added, making this tour sure to please visitors of all ages. Tours are weather permitting.

Guilford Town Marina

Located at the end of Whitfield Street, at the mouth of the East River, is the Guilford Town Marina. Certified as one of the first Connecticut Clean Marinas it has 122 slips and 14 river moorings. The marina offers convenient access to Long Island Sound. There are scenic views of Grass Island, Faulkner’s Island, and the East River marsh. A paved launch ramp with good water depth at any tide is located in the ENE corner of the parking lot. A fee applies to all launches. Transient boat slips are very limited. Boaters should call ahead to check availability.

Grove Street Cemetery

A National Historic Landmark, the cemetery was established in 1796, and is the first chartered burial ground in the country. Eminent people buried there include Noah Webster, Gen. David Humphreys, Roger Sherman, Charles Goodyear, Walter Camp and Bart Giamatti. A self-guided touring map is available from the cemetery office, daily 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Free one-hour walking tours sponsored by the Friends of the Grove Street Cemetery take place May-November, Saturday 11 a.m.; Sunday noon. Meet at the cemetery’s chapel building immediately inside the Egyptian Revival gates on Grove at High St.
