The Inn is a crowning reproduction of a classic Colonial estate that pays tribute to the historical distinction of the town without sacrificing the modern amenities of today. Family-owned and operated, we have welcomed guests from all over the world with warmth and hospitality for over 40 years.

The boutique property offers 32 guestrooms consisting of 12 bespoke themed rooms and 20 classic rooms. Each stay includes a complimentary breakfast. Bepsoke Rooms have been thoughtfully curated and individually designed. We didn’t have to look far as much of the inspiration is drawn from the area of Litchfield itself, with its rich history and beautiful landscapes. Stay in one of our bespoke rooms to truly connect and be inspired. Classic Rooms are simple and comfortable. There are a variety of room types available to suit you or your family’s needs. 

The common areas are mindfully curated for serenity and comfort, the inn offers several common spaces for you to enjoy. Sip a glass of wine in the front lounge or cozy up in a chair with a good book.

The facilities include a fitness center that is fully equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, bike by Peloton, and more. For those who are mixing business with pleasure, we offer a business center complete with desktop computers and printers.

The Inn is set on ten and a half bucolic acres and backs up to over a hundred acres of conservation land which lends unspoiled views of lush greens, rolling hills a babbling brook, and the inhabiting wildlife. Grab a seat by one of the firepits or take a stroll through our formal gardens –there are many ways to enjoy nature at the inn.

Located in the rolling hills of Northwestern Connecticut, Litchfield is a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We are a short two-hour drive from Boston and New York City.
