Incorporated in 1739, the town of Goshen is located in the beautiful Litchfield Hills. With a population of approximately 3,000, this quaint New England town is home to farms, churches, theaters, restaurants, farmers' markets, chocolatiers, dairies, vineyards, orchards, B&Bs, and much more. It is the perfect place to spend a day, a weekend, or settle down for much longer. Goshen is a great family town, with a highly-rated local elementary school. Swimming, hiking, and skiing are just some of the activities that are popular here. The Recreation Department is very active, providing many opportunities for both adults and children, including an excellent summer camp. Organizations such as the Goshen Garden Club, the Goshen Agricultural Society, and the Goshen Historical Society offer additional ways for town members to stay busy and engaged.
