The space

Owl's House is a spacious 2-story home designed by Kim-Alice Interiors with over 1,200 SF to stretch out and enjoy, plus outside areas like a private deck and garden, a firepit area, and trails to explore in over 60 acres of woods. Tastefully decorated to create a modern ranch vibe yet relaxed and comfortable. A full kitchen includes cooking oils, spices, coffee, and tea. Available to purchase at the farm: the best darn eggs and beef you've ever tasted. Just open the freezer and grab what you like. Pay instructions on the fridge.

Weekend stays include 1 pm check-out on Sunday, so you have time to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely morning. But we love to please our guests so ask in advance if you want earlier check in.

An amenities closet offers: blankets to cozy up by the fire, picnic bag, and lawn games like bocce ball, corn hole, and horseshoes. Request s'mores sticks, picnic blanket, beach towels & umbrella, and beach chairs.

The living area features a 9' leather couch, a bar area, and a range of board games. The treetop setting of the master bedroom offers stunning panoramic views, sunrises and sunsets, a Casper king bed and pillows, soft cotton sheets, and cozy comforter. A 55" smart TV comes with complimentary Amazon Prime viewing (5 seasons of Yellowstone), Netflix & Hulu and the ability to log in to other streaming apps. The second bedroom features a Casper queen-size bed and pillows, a 40" TV, Xbox One, and a twin daybed (upon request and at an extra charge). The bathroom is fully updated with a walk-in shower, Watermark rainshower head, soft plush towels, aromatic bath amenities, a ceramic blow dryer, and a lighted mirror.

Guest access

Your accommodations include a private 2-bedroom, 1-bath guest house with a living room, full kitchen, private deck, private garden, and dedicated firepit area, and an array of amenities. Guests staying at Owl's House have access to the wooded area (60 acres) and can wander around the farm and visit with the animals. Follow the instructions provided at check-in and under our house rules for interacting with the animals. The accommodations are for guests staying at the house only. No outside guests without special permission. We do allow events and gatherings, but those would require a site permit, fee, and liability policy. We can host gatherings of up to 50 people. Inquire with the host if you are interested in booking your event at the farm.

Northwest Corner Rd winds to the east to places like Westerly and Misquamicut beach (25min), to the west for Norwich (25 min) and antiquing in the neighboring areas, a scenic drive to Mystic and Old Stonington Borough (20 min), and northeast for day trips to Boston (1.5hrs), Cape Cod, Providence (40min) and Newport (1hr). Park in 1-of-2 driveways, lower private, upper shared. Boat/Toy trailer parking is available. Horse trailer or RV parking available.

A nature lovers paradise, the property has 35 acres of pasture and 60 Acres of forest to explore. Quiet and serene with the best views in North Stonington at a height of over 400 feet the Owl's House is the highest Airbnb in Stonington and North Stonington combined. The only farm stay in New England featuring beautiful Texas longhorns. Close to natural areas such as the Atlantic Ocean, Long Island Sound, Bird Estuaries, Horseback riding at Arcadia park, Canoeing and outdoor sports. We welcome those traveling with horses. Overnight horse boarding available, inquire about pasture or barn rates and requirements.
