Word & Image

Word & Image explores the intersection of verbal and visual expression across millennia of history. Pulling from the permanent art collection of Eastern and the archives of the J. Eugene Smith Library, the exhibit brings together a diverse range of objects, from sacred Egyptian artifacts to medieval manuscripts, the satirical pages of The New Yorker, the bold graphics of independent cinema, and mixed-media explorations of contemporary art. This event will be held at The Art Gallery at Eastern Connecticut State University.
