Waterfowl Walk

Early winter in Connecticut sees an influx of waterfowl species, as birds head south to avoid freezing waterways further north. We'll search for ducks and geese at the mouth of the Connecticut River and in Long Island Sound, as well as any late migrants and early winter residents.

The walk will be approximately 1-1.5 miles on level paved, grass, sandy, and dirt terrain. Exposure to wind, sun, and cold possible depending on the weather. No restrooms on site.
