Waterford Day Parade - Unity In Our Community!

The Town of Waterford is excited to announce our Annual Waterford Day Parade will take place on August 8, 2026, rain or shine! Step off is at 11am. There will be a “viewing stand” area setup where all groups/organizations may stop to perform, if they so choose, for the VIPs sitting there. This year is not only the 250th of America, but also the 225th of Waterford! This year we are going BIG! We are looking to recognize and celebrate our seniors turning 100, homes and businesses turning 100 and our veterans; “Unity in our Community”, the town we call home! The theme is “patriotic”, so show off the good ole’ Red, White and Blue! There’s no charge to participate in the parade. The parade route will start at Waterford High School and end at the First Baptist Church. There will be many events and activities happening at the Jordan Green and the Library prior to the start of the parade as well, from 8-10:30am.

Parade details:

August 8, 2026

Step-off 11am from Waterford High School, 20 Rope Ferry Road 

Ends at the First Baptist Church, 65 Rope Ferry Road

Parade Route approximately 1 mile in length

Check-in time approximately 1 hour prior. Details will be emailed out a few days ahead of time to all confirmed parade recipients.

MUST BE REGISTERED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.

Pre-Parade Activities include: 

• Dunk Tank

• Mr. Magic - This is a one-hour family show of non-stop fun that includes music, comedy, audience participation and sound effects.

• Balloon Twister

• Face Painter

• Coke Hug Machine

• Inflatable Fire House
