Walktober Kickoff Sunrise Walk

Join TLGV Rangers Emma MacDonald and Taylor Lynn Copeland for a stroll along the Mansfield Hollow Dam. Walk to watch the sunrise and kick off the start of Walktober 2026! 

Sunrise is at 6:30 am the day of the walk and flashlights/headlamps are recommended. The path is paved and mostly level. We’ll walk to the end of the path to hear the water rushing over the dam in the dark, then make our way back to catch a beautiful view of the sunrise over the water. Bring your binoculars to spot birds in the morning light! Space is limited and registration is required; please call 860-774-3300 or email [email protected] to save your spot.
