A Toast to The Last Green Valley

UMass professor and folklorist Stephen Gencarella will present a spirited talk on the fascinating history and lore of alcoholic beverages in TLGV, from the earliest colonial period—including venerable mixed drinks such as flip, toddy, sling, and punch—to the thriving contemporary local industry. We’ll also hear from Lou Chatey, the master distiller behind the Westford Hill offerings. This program is free to attend, however, Westford Hill will be offering cocktails and bottle sales.
