Time Travelers at The Connecticut Renaissance Faire
The timelines have collided and the gates are open. Time Travelers Weekend runs October 10 through 12, three days over Columbus Day, when the Connecticut Renaissance Faire opens its village to characters from every era, galaxy, and dimension imaginable.
Saturday is the Galactic Costume Contest. Starship captains, space wizards, androids, time travelers, and things that defy easy classification. Step onto the stage in whatever you came wearing from across the universe. Judges are looking for creativity, confidence, and the ability to bring your character to life regardless of what galaxy or era they call home. All species and timelines welcome.
Sunday is the Doctor Who Cosplay Contest. Step out of the TARDIS and into the spotlight dressed as your favorite Doctor, a beloved Companion, or another character from across the show's history. Classic looks, modern interpretations, and clever reimaginings are all welcome. Every regeneration has a place here. Immediately following the contest, all Whovians gather at the TARDIS for a group photo.
Columbus Day Monday is the Heroes and Villains Sci Fi Costume Contest. Choose your side. Take the stage as a hero sworn to protect the galaxy or a villain with plans for it. Judges are looking for creativity, presence, and the story your costume tells the moment you walk out.
Three days. Every era. Come in full costume or come as you are. Either way, you'll be surrounded by some of the most ambitious cosplay the Faire sees all season.
