Tattoo Demonstration By Red Rock Designs

Join us to explore the rich history and enduring legacy of Eastern Woodland tattoos and gain a deeper appreciation for this unique cultural expression, heritage and artistry at the Pequot Museum. 

Miciah Stasis (Herring Pond Wampanoag) will demonstrate and showcase the ancient tattooing techniques used by Eastern Woodland tribes, highlighting the intricate designs and their cultural significance. Participants will learn about the materials and methods traditionally used, as well as the meanings behind various tattoo patterns. Our expert demonstrator will provide live tattooing sessions, offering a rare glimpse into this timeless art form.
