Sunday Music Series | June Bisantz & Alexander Nakhimovsky - Voice and Piano

The NBMAA’s longstanding monthly concert series features local & regional performances from a variety of musical genres.

Vocalist June Bisantz & pianist Alexander Nakhimovsky have recorded, performed, and toured together since 2005. In 2018, they co-wrote and recorded "Love's Tango" which won three international Music Awards - a Global Music Award, 2019, a World Songwriting Award, 2024, and a Clouzine International Music Award, 2024.

The September 14 program for the New Britain Museum of American Art is made up of Latin/Jazz songs from Love's Tango and iconic American Jazz songs from their previous 2-volume recording, The Chet Baker Project. Overall the program will have Bisantz and Nakhimovsky's signature Latin/Jazz feel with latin rhythms and jazz harmonies, and the serious playfulness that has made them successful partners.
