Summer Solstice Ritual & Picnic

Come Celebrate The Summer Solstice With Us!

Event Location: Osbornedale State Park in Derby in 'The Grove' hidden in the woods across from the upper pavilion parking lot. 

• Gather & Bring Friends @ 2:30PM
• Ritual to Celebrate the Summer Solstice Begins @ 3PM
• Drumming & A Potluck Picnic to Follow
• Child & Pet Friendly! Wear What You Wish.

POTLUCK PICNIC:
Please bring a covered dish or finger food to share for the picnic as well as drinks & ice (real food please & no alcohol!).

PLEASE BRING
Blankets to sit and dine on, your drum and musical instruments, folding chairs, sunscreen and bug spray. You may wish to bring a sturdy pair of shoes if you wish to explore the hiking trails - spray for ticks beforehand. Port-a-let at this site, but the lower facilities of the park are in working order.

DIRECTIONS:
From Route 8 south:
Take Exit 17. Take a left at the end of the exit ramp. Take another left at the lighted intersection (Division Street) . Drive approximately ¾ miles. Osbornedale State Park will be on the right across from Derby High School.
From Route 8 north:
Take Exit 18. Take a left at the end of the exit ramp. Drive approximately ½ mile. Osbornedale State Park will be on the right across from the Derby High School.
If you follow GPS directions it will take you to administrative offices far away from the site.

Parking is available in a large lot near 555 Roosevelt Drive, Derby, CT.
