Summer Kitchen Talk Series: Enslaved, Indentured and in Service at Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden

Join staff and guest speakers this summer for special talks exploring the history of the property. Topics include:

  • Survivors of Ravensbrück, Hitler’s only all-women concentration camp during World War II with Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden staff on July 19  
  • Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden’s Collections with collections manager Erin Farley & museum interpreter Nick McCarthy on July 26  
  • Enslavement, Indentured and in Service at Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden with site administrator Peg Shimer on August 2  
  • Aaron Burr’s formative years in Litchfield County in partnership with Litchfield Historical Society on August 9
