The Suffield Players Present: 20th Century Blues
The Suffield Players proudly present 20th Century Blues by Susan Miller, a heartfelt and humorous exploration of friendship, memory, and the passage of time. Directed by Konrad Rogowski, this moving dramatic comedy runs May 1–16, 2026 at Mapleton Hall in Suffield.
A tale of four women whose friendship has endured for more than forty years, 20th Century Blues captures a lifetime of shared experiences through a tradition of annual photo sessions. At their latest gathering, an unexpected challenge arises—testing the strength of their bond and asking a powerful question: will their friendship prove strong enough to overcome it?
Blending sharp humor with emotional depth, the play offers a funny, uplifting, and deeply human look at aging, connection, and the moments that define us.
