Shad Derby Festival & Parade

One of the highlights of Shad Derby Day Festivities is the annual Shad Derby Parade that marches through town from the High School to Capen Street to Broad Street and to an end at the Town Green in Windsor Center.

The parade features many groups, including the Windsor High School marching band, the Windsor Fife and Drum Corps, the Shad Derby Monarch and the Royal Court, the Shad Derby Queen candidates, first responders, school groups, sport groups, scouts, worship groups, and the list goes on.
