Sell Your Gold Fundraiser at Stamford History Center

SELL YOUR OLD GOLD FUNDRAISER
Support the Stamford History Center

May 29 – May 31, 2026 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

For this fundraiser, you can leave your checkbook at home. Bob will look at what you bring in, and he will hand you a check for approximately 60% of the “melt” value of whatever you bring in. Then, an additional 30% of that “melt” value will be donated, in your name, to The History Center.

Take a moment to look through your jewelry boxes at home for:

• Broken gold chains and bracelets
• Single earrings (half pairs)
• Old school rings
• Rings with missing stones
• Old boyfriend or girlfriend gifts
• Jewelry you never wear
• Gold non-working watches
• Yes, even dental gold
• Platinum and palladium

Bring your items to the Stamford History Center and meet Bob the Gold Man, who will evaluate and purchase your pieces on the spot and hand you a check.

After the refining process, a percentage of the profits will be donated back to the Stamford History Center in your name, helping support the preservation of Stamford’s history.
