

Science Adventure Trail
At the Trumbull Nature & Arts Center Science Adventure Trail, you and your kids will conduct hands-on experiments and activities using science tools in our meadow, pond, stream, and forest! A fun way to learn science while spending time outdoors!
• Maximum of 5 people per registration.
• Price includes one toolkit per registration.
• Each toolkit contains experiment tools and a map to borrow (must be returned), and supplies for you keep:
• Supplies to keep: One trail activity guidebook with an area to be stamped at the end and a habitats matching game; enough bird nesting materials to make one nest; molding clay to make one animal track.
• Additional supplies to keep will be available for purchase at the Trail Station.
• Your journey will start at the Trail Station where you'll receive your toolkit and map.
• You'll then visit each Trail Stop to do a unique hands-on experiment or activity.
• After you've visited all the stops, you'll head back to the Trail Station to return your toolkit and get a "Certification" stamp in your guidebook to commemorate your nature adventure.
• This program is appropriate for families with children ages 6 and up, or even adults without kids who are looking for a unique way to spend time outside!
