Science Adventure Trail

At the Trumbull Nature & Arts Center Science Adventure Trail, you and your kids will conduct hands-on experiments and activities using science tools in our meadow, pond, stream and forest. Topics will include animal homes, alternative energy, natural phenomena, and more! A fun way to learn science while spending time outdoors!

At the Trumbull Nature & Arts Center Science Adventure Trail, you and your family will go on a self-guided environmental science journey, using our specially designed map and guidebook. You'll take a science toolkit along with you as you navigate our easy-to-walk trails conducting experiments and doing activities along the way. Upon your return to the Trail Station, your guidebook will be stamped with our Certified Adventure Trail Scientist seal to commemorate your nature adventure. This program is appropriate for families with children ages 6 and up.
