Santa Express | Christmas Trains

The Santa Express is the Railroad Museum of New England’s daytime Christmas train, leaving Thomaston Station at 12:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Families climb aboard for a visit with Santa Claus on a train decorated with Christmas cheer, inside and out.

While the train rolls along, Santa and Mrs. Claus visit with passengers, and Santa’s elves and reindeer join in. Every child receives a special gift from Santa’s toy bag, a bell, and a cookie from Santa’s kitchen.

Every passenger gets:

• A train decorated for Christmas, inside and out
• A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus
• A visit from Santa’s team of elves and reindeer
