Road to Revolution

Historic boat tours bring the Thames River to life with a passionate docent leading the way. Hop on and learn something new about this storied waterway or sit back and catch the breeze.

In honor of the 250th Anniversary of Signing of the Declaration of Independence, this tour will focus on colonial life and trade along the Thames, culminating with the 1781 Battle of New London and Groton Heights when Benedict Arnold led his traitorous raid on the local militia. This boat tour departs from Thames River Landing on Thames Street, Groton, CT.

Guests of all ages are welcome on this excursion. Pack a cooler with your favorite beverages and snacks, grab your people, and cruise!
