Portraits of Fairfield Exhibition

book tickets now learn more

In collaboration with Southport-based photographer Loryne Atoui, the Fairfield Museum invites visitors to explore a free, outdoor exhibition on the Museum Commons featuring photographic portraits of 16 community members. The exhibition showcases today’s multi-faceted Fairfield community and celebrates the different people who call Fairfield home. Large-scale photographs will be displayed on the exterior of the Fairfield Museum building and other historic properties. Alongside the portraits, clips of oral history interviews that share a piece of each community member’s Fairfield story will be accessible by scanning QR codes throughout the exhibition.

On view through September 27, 2026 on the Fairfield Museum Commons. This exhibition is presented in conjunction with Fairfield in 1776: Revolution & Resilience.

Visit www.fairfieldhistory.org for a list of the featured community members.
