Niantic Touch-A-Truck

A hands-on day of fun for the entire family!

The Niantic Children’s Museum, Miracle League of Southeastern CT and East Lyme Youth Services Bureau are thrilled to announce their partnership with Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT and East Lyme Parks & Recreation for the 2025 Niantic Touch-a-Truck!

The family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10am to 2pm at McCook Point Park, Niantic. While the event organizers may have changed, the mission of the event will stay the same: a day of discovery and fun for everyone! Kids can climb into the driver's seat, honk horns, and learn about the functions of various vehicles. The event will also feature food trucks, the Roaming Railroad, children’s entertainment by Poppi's Planet and Wishes Character Co. and a number of local community organizations, each with their own hands-on craft or activity. The Mystic Aquarium will also be on hand with its life-size beluga whale puppet "swimming" through the event at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The first hour of the event, 10 a.m.-11 a.m., will be a Sensory-Friendly, No Horn Hour.
