New Haven Symphony Orchestra presents RHAPSODY IN BLUEGRASS

Get ready for toe-tapping fun as classical meets country in this lively, family-friendly concert! Musicians from the New Haven Symphony Orchestra team up with rising bluegrass stars Charlie Widmer & On The Trail to blend classical sound with foot-stomping fiddle, banjo, guitar, and vocals.

This concert is presented as part of the NHSO's LIVE from the Valley concert series. For more than 25 years, the NHSO’s second performance home has been in the Naugatuck Valley, where it plays concerts at satellite locations in schools and churches convenient to Valley residents. This series combines the fun and variety of live symphonic experiences with the convenience of hometown venues — designed especially for families and music lovers of all ages.
