NAC's BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENT - "Who We Are" with Host Lonnie Braxton

Host, Lonnie Braxton, will introduce the film, “Who We Are — a chronicle of racism in America.” After the screening there will be a 30 minute discussion.

"Who We Are" - The award-winning documentary film by criminal defense/ civil rights lawyer Jeffery Robinson draws a stark timeline of anti-Black racism in the United States, from slavery to the modern myth of a post-racial America. It interweaves personal anecdotes, interviews, and shocking revelations.

Lonnie Braxton is a retired Senior Assistant State’s Attorney for juvenile matters and a distinguished member of the New London community. His career and personal journey reflect a profound commitment to justice and equality.
