Museum After Dark (MAD) Party | Chinchorreo at the Museum

Join us for our Museum After Dark Party! Enjoy a night out with dancing, drinks, delicious food, and more! (Ages 21+)

A chinchorreo is a traditional Puerto Rican weekend bar-hopping party where friends and family travel between casual, rustic roadside bars known as chinchorros. Participants feast on local fried snacks (frituras) and drinks, enjoying live music and a lively, festive atmosphere.

Celebrate the launch of the Museum’s multi-year “Puerto Rico in Focus” initiative and the current special exhibition The Museum of the Old Colony: An Art Installation by Pablo Delano, on view through July 5, 2026.
