MOVE! with the Urban League of Greater Hartford

The day kicks off with registered participants feeling the personal accomplishment of completing the 5K or 1 Mile race, followed by a free kids run and the YP Games team competition, hosted by the Urban League of Greater Hartford Young Professionals. Throughout the day, the community is invited to enjoy a variety of free fitness activities, crafts and giveaways as well as food and live entertainment while exploring Hartford’s historic Keney Park, the Jewel of the City and one of New England’s largest public parks!

This event is made possible through the generous support of Pratt & Whitney and is inspired by the legacy of Earl Exum, a Pratt executive and Urban League Board officer. Prior to his untimely passing in October 2023, Earl made fitness a priority and inspired colleagues to do so as well by participating in this event, where he was the first to cross the finish line in the inaugural race in 2022.
