Moby-Dick Marathon

Set sail on a literary adventure as we mark our 40th annual reading of Moby-Dick in honor of Herman Melville’s birthday, read aloud aboard the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world. The first chapter will be read by Melville himself! Bring your copy of the novel, take a turn reading a chapter or two, or simply listen as the story unfolds by lantern light through the night. This is the only overnight event held on the Charles W. Morgan all year; don’t miss your chance to be part of this beloved tradition.

Registration is required for those staying overnight on the Charles W. Morgan. Registrants ages 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Overnight registration may be booked by entering information below or through Central Reservations at 860-572-5331 while space is available!
