Los Ángeles Azules, originally from Iztapalapa, are recognized worldwide as the greatest exponents of cumbia. They have taken their music to renowned international stages and festivals, such as Vive Latino and Coachella, being the first cumbia group to perform at the latter in 2017. Additionally, they made history by entering YouTube’s Billion Views Club, with two of their videos surpassing one billion views: “Nunca es bastante” (Never Enough) featuring Natalia Lafourcade and “Mis sentires” (My Feelings) featuring Ximena Sariñana. In the last five years, the group has been recognized with multiple awards and nominations including Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award (2023), Hispanic Heritage Award (2024), Latin Grammy Nomination (2024, and Premio Lo Nuestro Nomination (2025).
