Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness: The Declaration of Independence at 250 Exhibition

In 1776, 250 years ago, the Declaration of Independence was written to formally announce the separation of the American colonies from the British government. This limited 2-week-long exhibition of one of the earliest printings of the Declaration as well as other rare documents on the nation’s founding will run from July 2 through July 19, 2026.

Documents are on loan through Seth Kaller, Inc. and will be on display in the Meeting Hall.
