Kentucky Derby Watch Party

The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens invites the community to celebrate the return of spring in style at a festive Kentucky Derby watch party on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Often called “the most exciting two minutes in sports,” the Kentucky Derby will be streamed live at the park, with post time set for 6:57 pm. Guests are encouraged to gather early, settle in and enjoy the lively atmosphere as anticipation builds for the big race.

In true Derby tradition, attendees are invited to don their finest headwear and take part in a spirited hat contest. Don your biggest, most creative and classic Derby style. 

The evening will also feature light bites and refreshing drinks, offering the perfect complement to a spring evening spent with friends and neighbors.
