Kaleidoscope Eyes presented by the URSA Gallery at Colorblends

This spring, URSA Gallery invites the community to celebrate the dialogue between art and nature with the unveiling of Kaleidoscope Eyes. Drawing inspiration from the groundbreaking visions of artists such as Paul Cézanne, Wassily Kandinsky, and Pablo Picasso—artists who transformed the way we perceive and feel nature’s energies—the exhibition will comprise dozens of mixed-media artworks that will engage all of our senses. To see the world through a kaleidoscope is to see ever-shifting, hypnotic combinations of fractals and geometric patterns—to bring a new reality to the surface of things, to unearth the abstract in the everyday, to find a crystallization of meaning in impermanence. Set against the backdrop of the breathtaking Colorblends House & Spring Garden, Kaleidoscope Eyes will engage these infinitely complex themes and more, showing how artists today break apart or enliven our   environments in abstract, figurative, and impressionistic ways. With spring comes new beginnings—and through the scope of this show, new ways of seeing.
