Juneteenth Freedom Day 1865 - Connecticut's African-American Families - Presented by John Mills

This presentation brings the lived experiences of four Connecticut families into focus, discussing their contributions during the American Revolution and later during the Civil War. 

One of those he will discuss is the family of Primus Armes of Norwich, CT - which will reveal a powerful and often overlooked history of service, sacrifice, and resilience.
