Introduction to the Art and Craft of Calligraphy Workshop

Now is the perfect time to learn the art of calligraphy, or “beautiful handwriting.” In this workshop, you work on creating hand-crafted bookmarks, greeting cards, favorite quotes ready to frame, journals, and other projects.  Participants find it to be a fun, calming, experience, and are surprised at how quickly they can make wonderful creations in this practical and excellent art form. Four different calligraphic styles are introduced: Bookhand, Uncial, Italic, and Blackletter, to provide a variety of techniques and creative possibilities, so you can focus on the styles you most enjoy.
