How to Grow a Pollinator-Friendly Flowering Lawn
Join us to learn how to grow a pollinator-friendly flowering lawn this spring on March 29 from 10:30AM - 12PM!
Our local food system relies on the health and abundance of the wildlife around us. Margit Burgess, Accredited CT-NOFA Organic Lawn Care Professional, will teach you how to convert your landscape into native gardens to help boost biodiversity, ecosystem health, and food system resiliency.
There will be plenty of time for questions so that you can feel confident in your plans to create a vibrant and sustainable landscape!
Registration is $10 per person. Proceeds help Yellow Farmhouse provide field trips to children all over southeast Connecticut.
This class will be held at the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center on Stone Acres Farm, 389 North Main Street, Stonington CT 06378.
