📖 Our Story & Where Your Support Goes
Hay Burr Inn Equine Rescue & Sanctuary has been rescuing horses for over a decade and became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014. Our barn was built entirely with donated and recycled materials and operates solely by family and volunteers, so that every dollar raised goes directly to equine care—including hay, feed, medical treatment, and daily essentials.
We currently provide lifelong sanctuary to 14 horses, 2 donkeys, and 1 mule, who are encouraged to move, socialize, and heal both physically and emotionally using the "mustang method".
Many were rescued from neglect, abuse, owner surrender, or intercepted from auctions where they were at risk of slaughter.

Every ticket purchased supports this work—giving vulnerable equines a safe place to rest, recover, and live with dignity.
