Herbal Remedies at the Silversmith Shop

On August 15, 11-3 come to the Joseph Carpenter Silversmith Shop to meet a Norwich Nursing Mother. Mary Bushnell, nurse in 1700 Norwich will be visiting the Silversmith Shop to share her role as a nurse in early Norwich and some of the remedies she used with friends and neighbors in the community. She used herbs from her garden for her remedies.         Also enjoy the early tradesman shop of Joseph Carpenter silversmith and clockmaker!
