Gravestone Cleaning & Learning Workshop

Volunteer to help clean gravestones in the historic Ancient Burying Ground! Learn about the history of the Ancient Burying Ground, which dates back to 1640. Find out about gravestone art and iconography and how this site has changed over hundreds of years. Then use your own "elbow grease" and learn how to conduct basic cleaning of colonial gravestones. Training and supplies provided.
