GNACC Healthy Living & Family Fun Festival

Join us for our Annual  GNACC HEALTHY LIVING & FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL brought to you by the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee.  This is a Free Community Event to showcase local health-related businesses while providing local families with a day of FUN and EDUCATION!!   If you are a local health-related business and would like to provide local families with a day of fun, join us for our Healthy Living Festival!! 

SATURDAY, October 3, 2026 at Dodd Stadium, 14 Stott Ave, Norwich CT 06360 from 10am - 2pm.

2025 Event Highlights

• Over 1,000 in attendance
• 85 vendor tables featuring local health, wellness, and community partners
• 11 HHC Departments and institutes participated with 30 staff members
• 600 individuals screened and educated by Hartford HealthCare *61 abnormal screenings identified * 2 referrals made for follow-up care
• 45 health screenings conducted by UConn dental students and clinicians. *6 significant findings
• 27 Vision screenings for children & adults provided by Lions Club International.
• 30 flu vaccinations | Norwich Pharmacy and Greenville Drug Store
• 130 blood pressure checks performed by CT State |Three Rivers Community College Nursing Students
• 82 bicycle helmets distributed by Hartford HealthCare & Norwich PD
• Car show sponsored by Norwich Auto Parts, raising $350 for local nonprofits
• Spin-A-Thon led by Megaphone Fitness raised $3,000 in support of St. Vincent de Paul Place
• 6 dogs adopted | East Coast Canine Rescue
