Village Center for the Arts is honored to showcase "The Colors I Carried", an acrylic-on-canvas collection by young artist Kat McKernan. This heartfelt series captures the instinctive use of color and movement that helped Kat navigate the emotional challenges of high school. Through her expressive brushwork, each piece becomes a story of resilience, healing, and the transformative power of art. In addition to painting, Kat is also expanding her practice through crochet, embroidery, collage, and creative writing, bringing a multi-dimensional perspective to her creative journey.
