Freestyle Extravaganza: Lovers Edition

The pioneers of Freestyle Music are coming to the Palace Theater: Lisa Lisa, George Lamond, The Cover Girls, Rockell, Noel, Lisette Melendez, and David from Nice & Wild.

This high-energy event brings together some of the most iconic artists who helped shape the Freestyle and pop sound of the 1980s and beyond.

Headlining the evening is the legendary Lisa Lisa, one of the greatest R&B/Pop divas to emerge from the 1980s music scene. With her groundbreaking group Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, she released five chart-topping albums that cemented their place in New York City’s thriving music culture. As the first Latin artist to achieve major nationwide success, Lisa Lisa paved the way for generations of Latin performers in the English-language market. Fans will enjoy timeless hits such as "I Wonder If I Take You Home," "All Cried Out," "Can You Feel the Beat," and "Lost in Emotion."

The show will also feature Freestyle stars: George Lamond ("Bad of the Heart"), The Cover Girls ("Show Me," "Wishing on a Star"), Rockell ("In a Dream"), Noel ("Silent Morning," "The Question"), Lisette Melendez ("Together Forever"), and David from Nice & Wild ("Diamond Girl").
