FREE Puppet Show + Mask Making Activity

The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens invites community members of all ages to experience “Marvelous Metamorphoses,” a whimsical puppet show presented by Sova Dance & Puppet Theater on Friday, November 28. The event kicks off with a hands-on mask-making workshop at 2 p.m., followed by the puppet show at 3 p.m

“Marvelous Metamorphoses” celebrates the bizarre and beautiful transformations found in nature—from caterpillar to butterfly, polliwog to frog, and beyond.

Before the show, participants can craft their own artistic bird masks using intricate paper-cutting techniques that highlight color, texture, and creativity.

This is not a drop off event; a parent or guardian is required to remain on site with children at all times. 

Due to limited space, advanced registration for this free event is required HERE. Attendees may sign up for the mask-making activity only, the puppet show only, or both.
