Join us for a summer lawn party to celebrate Hartford’s creative communities! Vibe to Caribbean music with the Sound Pipers Band while you enjoy live painting, lawn games, and dominoes. Savor authentic Caribbean food from The Rolling Roti and Jamaican Jerk Shack. Join MATRIX 199 artist Ocean Vuong as he discusses his new exhibition I’m Sorry I Love You, and stay for a screening of Kes (1969). In partnership with The Amistad Center for Art & Culture, and Taste of the Caribbean Jerk Festival.

Free admission. Registration encouraged.
