Fairy Tails Day

Meet & Greet Storytime Princesses and Heroes: Children can meet and take photos with their beloved heroes and heroines; Belle, Tiana, Ariel, Superman, Supergirl, Snow White, and Cinderella. 

Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos: Add a touch of magic with face painting and glitter tattoos.

Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite character and let the magic unfold. The day of fantasy and fun is made possible by the Zoo’s Sweet Storybook Sponsor, Pediatric Healthcare Associates, who will be on-site offering health education and awareness, along with surprise giveaways for families. 

“One of the best parts of Fairy Tails Day is seeing how excited the kids are,” said Dr. Jim Wharton, CEO of Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. “They get to dress up, meet some of their favorite characters and enjoy a fun day at the Zoo with their families.
