Explore On the Job

This summer, KidsPlay invites families to Imagine More, Create More, and Innovate More with weekly exhibit themes, hands-on activities, and familiar favorites throughout the museum. Each week highlights a different exhibit area and gives families new ways to enjoy indoor summer play.

During On the Job: Train & Construction Week, children can step into a world of trains, construction, and hands-on engineering through interactive play experiences designed for builders, operators, and future engineers. Families can climb aboard the train, operate construction equipment, and design structures as they explore a bustling worksite built for imagination.

The Train & Construction exhibits encourage children to develop problem-solving, teamwork, and early engineering skills through building, designing, and imaginative role-play. By exploring how trains move, construction projects come together, and communities are built, children gain confidence while learning through hands-on discovery and creative play.

Activities are included with museum admission unless otherwise noted.
