Explore the Arts and Innovation Zone

This summer, KidsPlay invites families to Imagine More, Create More, and Innovate More with weekly exhibit themes, hands-on activities, and familiar favorites throughout the museum. Each week highlights a different exhibit area and gives families new ways to enjoy indoor summer play.

During Arts & Innovation Zone Week, children can explore creativity in action as they experiment with evaporating art, build and design in the Makerspace, make music in the Music Room, engineer imaginative structures with Rigamajig, and construct their own city in Block City.

The Arts & Innovation Zone encourages open-ended exploration, creative problem-solving, and hands-on discovery through art, sound, and building. It’s a favorite for families looking to mix imagination with invention and enjoy summer play indoors.

Activities are included with museum admission unless otherwise noted.
