Expanding Visions and Hudson Valley Art Association's 92nd Annual Juried Exhibition

The Lyme Art Association (LAA) is the place to be this summer for its vibrant exhibitions, family-friendly events, and marvelous workshops. From June 6-July 17, LAA showcases two wonderful art shows. Featuring the various artistic styles of the LAA members, Expanding Visions includes everything from hyper-realism to nonrepresentational abstract. Through this exhibition, LAA hopes to highlight the unique and innovative perspectives of its artists and to inspire viewers to broaden their own artistic horizons.

Running concurrently is the Hudson Valley Art Association (HVAA)’s 92nd Annual Juried Exhibition. HVAA exhibitions aim to preserve and encourage the character, knowledge, craftsmanship and respect for the natural form, color and design which distinguishes fine art painting and sculpture. HVAA’s annual exhibition at LAA includes oils, aqua media, pastels, graphics, and sculpture.

Opening reception for both shows is Saturday, June 14 from 5-7pm.
